0CTOBER 17TH TOUR TO CUMBERLAND GAP

We will meet at the Food City Parking lot in Halls at 8:00 AM.  Food City is located at 7202 Maynardville Pike, Knoxville, TN  37918.  We will depart promptly at 8:30 AM!

After departing Halls we will travel north on some of the historic Thunder Road routes with a bathroom break scheduled at Tazewell and then a photo op at the historic Rose Gulf Station!

After leaving Tazewell, we will drive up to the Pinnacle for breathtaking views overlooking Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia.

After arriving at Cumberland Gap we have been asked to join Airstream International showing their Airstream campers in downtown Cumberland Gap.

They have an area assigned for us to park our antique vehicles in downtown Cumberland Gap. Then at 2 PM those wishing to attend Cruisin’ the Crater at Middlesboro will travel through the historic 25 tunnel into Middlesboro where we have a section of town saved for our vehicles.

Those not attending the Crusin the Crater can remain in Cumberland Gap and leave at your leisure.

We need your RSVP by Friday October 9th on how many are attending because Angelo’s in the Gap is planning lunch for us.  The cost of the lunch is $21.50 per person.  We also need a RSVP on who will be attending Cruisin the Crater in Middlesboro! If you have any questions you can contact Keith Bullen, Debbie Bullen or Steve Lamb, Vickie Lamb our tour hosts.  We look forward to seeing you on the 17th!
